Tears

As refreshing rain falls down
My tears also touch the ground.
Released by too much pain
They continue to fall the same.

Tears that flow because of joy,
Hope and dreams I do employ.
Cleansing my heart and my soul,
Releasing pain by constant flow.

Tears that fall because they fall
Sometimes released by one and all.
Whatever the reason they tumble down
Can cause a cure without a sound.

Rains will come and rains will go,
As will tears, this I know.
But whatever the cause its my belief
That when they fall, they bring relief.
