        The darkness once again surrounds me,
        and I am taken over.
        This dark foreboding in my soul is pain to me.
        I want so much to know the answers,
        yet believe there are none.
        Nothing is to be reckoned with,
        as everything is to feel.
        So I pull back into my little black hole,
        and cry.
        Because all I ever asked for was joy,
        and all I ever got was pain.
