        I was searching,
        Searching for so long
        My heart was empty
        And my will for life
        Was all but strong.

        Then out of the clear blue
        Something happened, I stopped
        Searching when I first looked at you.

        You put a spark in my eye
        And a feeling in my heart
        I knew it was love
        from the start.

        Now I search no more,
        I no longer cry
        My heart is full for the first time.
        I no longer ask God why?

        Thank you for your love and sincerity
        Your gentle caring heart
        When I first looked at you,
        I loved you from the start.
