hildebrand ong yiu: APOCALYPSE

Apocalypse

Below the deep
past the bottomless abyss
lies out prehistoric past
about to surface at last

up it goes to the surface
waking up from it's infernal sleep
unfolding its long forgotten wings
it flies towards the middle east

The earth shook as it flapped it's wings
six days and seven nights it did not stop
it was foretold what misery it would bring
for a thousand years it would reign
till a light will shine
and all suffering will decline
and the truth shall set the world free
as it rises from the blood red sea
